Carrie Siegfried-Haase

a little history

Born in Ohio and raised in New Jersey, silversmith Carrie Siegfried-Haase relocated to Northwest Arkansas in 2005 with her husband, Michael, and their two daughters.  Living in Bella Vista has afforded her the opportunity to focus her energy on artistic discovery.  In the home studio of her companies, Lilabelle Designs and Elevations Art, she has created unique home accessories and jewelry.  There is movement and humor in many of her pieces--inspired by found materials and the natural ebb and flow of everyday life.
Prior to returning to school to study art education, she was primarily self-taught as a silversmith and certified in jewelry repair. She sold her jewelry at craft fairs and festivals in Arkansas, Missouri and Ohio and won Best in Show at Bella Vista's 2011 annual juried craft festival.  Her work was also available for sale for many years in the museum shop at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, located in Bentonville, Arkansas.

In 2015, Haase’s interests turned to acrylic painting and mixed media and sharing the power of creativity with others through one-on-one coaching and teaching workshops in both painting and metalsmithing.  Haase’s current work focuses on both sculptural and 2-dimensional art that is larger in scale than her earlier jewelry pieces but continues with her theme of everyday life.
